  • Founded in 1971 the Southeast Texas Sports Fishing Association (S.E.T.S.F.A.) is an organization composed of sportsmen and women from the Houston-Galveston area.  The purpose of this association of saltwater fishermen is to promote:

    • Saltwater fishing and all forms of fish and wild life conservation;
    • Sportsmanship and boating safety among all club members and their contacts; and
    • Sponsor the Southeast Texas Sports Fishing Association’s Annual Hall of Fame Tournament

    The Annual Hall of Fame Tournament, hosted by the City of Texas, is our main fundraiser, which enables us to continue to contribute to charities and to the community.  The Hall of Fame Tournament is held for 9 days beginning Memorial Day weekend.
